What is Adsorbent Screening For CO2CO Separation For Applications in Syngas Production about?
This study investigates the adsorption behavior of CO2 and CO using various adsorbents for the separation of syngas, focusing on 20 zeolites, 2 activated aluminas, 3 activated carbons, and 2 silica gels at 30 °C. Results indicate that CO2 is more favorably adsorbed than CO, with high-density silica gel and H-Y type zeolites showing the most promise for CO2 separation due to their high adsorption capacities and favorable ratios. The findings suggest that Na+ exchanged FAU structured zeolites are particularly
