About this document

National Criminal Justice Commission Act by Jim Webb is a document available to read on EtoBox.

The bill establishes the National Criminal Justice Commission to comprehensively review the U.S. criminal justice system, including federal, state, local and tribal policies and practices. The last similar commission was in 1965. This Commission would make recommendations to reform the criminal justice system based on its review, in order to reduce crime and violence, recidivism, and improve cost-effectiveness and fairness. It would consider the work of prior relevant commissions.
