Aster Ganno was an Ethiopian Bible translator who worked with Onesimos Nesib to translate the Oromo Bible published in 1899. She was born free but later enslaved and emancipated in 1886. She was educated at the Swedish Evangelical Mission school and assisted Onesimos with translating the New Testament in 1893 and compiling an Oromo dictionary.
