Simulation eines antagonistischen Muskelsystems fr den Sonderfall ermdender isometrischer Muskelarbeit by W. Laurig u. W. Sauernheimer is a Neuroscience article available to read on EtoBox.

What is Simulation eines antagonistischen Muskelsystems fr den Sonderfall ermdender isometrischer Muskelarbeit about?

Using conventional models for the description of fast dynamic movements a special model for simulation of antagonistic systems of muscles is developed, particularly considering isometric contractions leading to muscular fatigue. Certain assumptions concerning the structure of the subsystem "spindel '\* were necessary to design the model of the main system. Fatigue was simulated by the decrease of the strength of muscle fibres as a function of the time of contraction. The reaction of the system is compared with the results of electromyographic experiments with different muscle systems leading to a satisfactory harmony with conventional theories to muscular fatigue. ## 1.
