Counterpressure Techniques for Labor Pain Relief by Manal Abbas Ailatat is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the effectiveness of Counterpressure techniques in reducing labor pain levels during the first active phase of childbirth. Using a quasi-experimental design with 40 respondents, results showed a significant decrease in pain intensity from an average scale of 3.10 before Counterpressure to 1.95 after, indicating a mean difference of 1.15. The findings suggest that Counterpressure can be an effective non-pharmacological method for pain management during labor.
