Krishna Raja Sagara, also known as KRS, is a dam and reservoir located in Mandya District, Karnataka, India. The 125-foot tall dam was constructed across the Kaveri River in 1932 and impounds a reservoir with a capacity of 1.4 cubic km. The dam and reservoir provide irrigation water for the fertile lands of Mysore and Mandya districts and also supply drinking water to Mysore City and parts of Bangalore.
