What is Bronx Subway Delays Frustrate Riders about?
The subway system in New York City has been experiencing frequent delays that are frustrating riders, including many Lehman College students. In October alone there were over 6,000 reported incidents causing delays, more than triple the average from six years ago. Recent injuries on subway tracks have also caused delays. Riders complain of overcrowding, long waits, and unreliable schedules. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has pledged funds to fix issues and improve maintenance, but debt is rising
