The line/backbone coupler N 140/03 connects two separate EIB bus lines and isolates them to allow independent operation. It can be used as a line coupler, backbone coupler, or repeater. Up to three repeaters can connect 252 devices to one line. It is powered via the primary line and can detect failures on the secondary line.
