What is Supreme Court Collegium Recommendations about?

The Supreme Court Collegium met to discuss filling two of the six current vacancies on the Supreme Court. They decided to recommend Justice K.M. Joseph, currently Chief Justice of the Uttarakhand High Court, and senior advocate Indu Malhotra for appointment as Supreme Court judges based on their merit, integrity and seniority. The Collegium resolved to recommend Justice Joseph for the first vacancy and Ms. Malhotra for the second.
