About this document

HVSR Method for Jakarta Earthquake Risk by Eko Iswanto is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This document summarizes research using the Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) method to analyze microtremor data from 95 stations in Jakarta City in order to characterize subsurface structures and determine earthquake risk. The HVSR method produced dominant frequency values ranging from 0.2-8.6 Hz and amplification factor maps that show North Jakarta has the highest risk of amplification. Seismic vulnerability values ranged from 15-850, highest in northeast and north Jakarta.
