About this document

Gut Microbiota and Chemotherapy Efficacy by Joanna Estrada is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the relationship between baseline gut microbiota and the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in early breast cancer patients. Among 183 patients, the overall pathological complete response (pCR) rate was 36.1%, with specific rates varying by breast cancer subtype. Two gut microbiota species were associated with pCR, while diversity did not correlate with chemotherapy response, indicating the need for further research on gut microbiota as a predictive marker.
