A study collected water flow data from six watersheds following storm episodes to analyze the relationship between peak water flow rate (dependent variable) and five watershed characteristics (independent variables). Scatterplots showed some linear relationships between the variables. Correlations between the variables were computed and most were found to be statistically significant.
