What is Akyab District Population by Religion about?

The document summarizes population data of Akyab District in Myanmar from 1872 to 1911, showing increases in both Buddhist and Muslim populations over that period. While the Buddhist population increased by 104,071 from 1872 to 1901 and a further 29,968 from 1901 to 1911, the Muslim population increased by 96,177 from 1872 to 1901 and 24,215 from 1901 to 1911. It notes that both populations increased, contrary to claims that only the Muslim population increased abnormally after British occupation in 1824. I
