About this document

SGLT2 Inhibitors by sundaramjha027 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the role of SGLT2 inhibitors in reducing the incidence and severity of diabetic retinopathy (DR) in type 2 diabetes patients. Results indicate that patients using SGLT2 inhibitors had a significantly lower incidence of both non-proliferative and proliferative retinopathy compared to those on other antidiabetic therapies. However, there was no significant difference in advanced retinopathy or macular abnormalities between the two groups.
