This study evaluated the effect of adding 20 mg nalbuphine to 25 ml of 0.25% levobupivacaine in ultrasound-guided supraclavicular blocks for hand and forearm surgeries. Results showed that the addition of nalbuphine provided a prolonged duration of sensory block while maintaining similar motor block durations compared to levobupivacaine alone. The time to the first analgesic dose was significantly longer in the nalbuphine group, indicating enhanced postoperative analgesia.
