Can I read Phosphate Impact on Flavinogenesis in Eremothecium ashbyii on EtoBox?

Phosphate Impact on Flavinogenesis in Eremothecium ashbyii by Daniel Tan is a document available to read on EtoBox.

What is Phosphate Impact on Flavinogenesis in Eremothecium ashbyii about?

1. The study found that decreasing the phosphate concentration in the growth medium of Eremothecium ashbyii resulted in increased production of riboflavin and flavin mononucleotide. 2. At high phosphate concentrations, growth increased but flavin production decreased. The ratio of riboflavin to FMN also decreased. 3. Cells grown in low phosphate took on a swollen morphology while those in high phosphate grew as thin mycelia and contained polyphosphate granules.
