What is Efficacy of Sulbactam/Ampicillin in CAP about?

This study evaluates the efficacy and safety of intravenous sulbactam/ampicillin (SBT/ABPC) 3 g four times daily in Japanese adults with moderate to severe community-acquired pneumonia (CAP). A total of 47 subjects were enrolled, showing a clinical efficacy rate of 94.6% and a bacterial eradication rate of 91.7% at the test of cure. The treatment was well tolerated, with all adverse events being mild or moderate in severity.
