This study analyzed the economies of honey production and technical efficiency levels of beekeeping projects in Baghdad province, Iraq using a sample of 50 beekeepers. The analysis found the average technical efficiency was 85%, indicating a 15% waste of resources on average. Fixed costs, especially family labor, represented the largest share of total costs at 57%.
