Measurement Studio is an add-on to Visual Studio that is used for developing measurement, control, and monitoring applications using .NET and Visual Studio. It contains a library called DataSocket that enables communication with OPC DA servers from within Visual Studio code. While Measurement Studio 2015 is designed for Visual Studio 2013, it can still be used with Visual Studio 2015 by manually adding the Measurement Studio controls to the toolbox and creating license files.
