About this document

Al-Mg-Si Alloys: HRFT Effects on Formability by Lamia BENHAMADOUCHE is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the effects of hot rolling finish temperature (HRFT) on the microstructure, texture, and formability of Al–Mg–Si alloys. Results indicate that increasing HRFT enhances deep drawability while initially deteriorating bendability, which later improves at higher temperatures due to reduced grain size. The findings provide insights for optimizing the properties of aluminum alloys for automotive applications by adjusting HRFT during manufacturing.
