His grandfather warns him that he will not be around forever, and Yuuki will need to take care of the family rice fields. Later, an earthquake occurs as Yuuki plays in the hills. He notices the sea pulling away from the shore quickly and darkly, which his grandfather had warned was a sign of an incoming tsunami.
