About this document

Wavelength Measurement in Microwave Lab by Israr Ahmad is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This document describes an experiment to measure the wavelength of a microwave signal inside a guided medium. Standing waves are created when there is impedance mismatch between the transmission line and load. The wavelength is calculated by measuring the distances between null points along the slotted waveguide and applying the formula that the distance between two null points is equal to half the guided wavelength. The measured guided wavelength was calculated to be 36mm.
