Aortic Arch Arteries in Sparrowhawk by Claire Barfuss is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study examined the arterial structure of the aortic arch in six sparrowhawks. The two major arteries that arose from the aortic arch were observed to be the left brachiocephalic trunk and the right brachiocephalic trunk. These trunks then divided into the common carotid arteries and subclavian arteries. The common carotid arteries further gave rise to the esophagotracheobronchial artery and vertebral trunk before terminating. The subclavian arteries bifurcated into the axillary artery and pectoral trun
