What is Effects of Fibers on High-Temperature Concrete about?

This document summarizes a study that investigated the influence of polypropylene and steel fibers in concretes subjected to high temperatures. Several concrete mixtures with varying amounts of polypropylene and/or steel fibers were tested. The concretes were subjected to ISO 834 standard fire testing and slow heating tests up to 900°C. The study found that adding polypropylene and steel fibers can reduce explosive spalling and improve residual mechanical properties of concretes exposed to high temperatures
