This paper investigates the stochastic used-product return problem in a closed-loop supply chain involving a manufacturer and a retailer with fairness concerns. It analyzes the equilibrium feedback control strategies under different fairness types of the retailer and finds that the presence of fairness concern does not affect the equilibrium strategies for the retailer or manufacturer. The study also proposes a hybrid coordinate contract to improve cooperation between the manufacturer and the retailer.
