What is Apollo Ambient Air Pump Overview about?
The CALIPSO Ambient Air Pump conveys breathing air from outside a work area to a low-pressure respirator worn inside, eliminating the need for an air compressor. It moves clean air through an intake that can be up to 300 feet away from the pump. An operator simply connects the pump and respirator, turns it on, and checks for leaks before wearing the respirator. After use, the operator keeps the respirator on until the area is free of dust and contamination.
