This study examined knowledge and attitudes toward lymphatic filariasis (LF) and compliance with mass drug administration (MDA) in two rural villages in the Philippines. It found that while respondents had mostly high knowledge of LF, there were still some misconceptions about causes and transmission. Over half had favorable attitudes but some stigma remained. Compliance with the prior MDA was only 66%, below the 85% target. Common reasons for noncompliance were forgetfulness and drug side effect fears. Pov
