This paper discusses the development of a MATLAB program for modeling the electrical properties of a static concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) system with a ±40° acceptance angle. The study aims to predict the current-voltage and power-voltage characteristics of the static concentrator, demonstrating its ability to enhance solar energy collection efficiency. Results indicate that the static concentrator significantly improves power output compared to a plain PV cell, especially within its designed acceptance
