The Greenbelt Trail Map uses 100% recycled post-consumer waste paper which saves resources by reducing the need for 17 trees, 1,100 lbs of solid waste, 11,000 gallons of water, 2,100 lbs of air emissions, and 2,478 cubic feet of natural gas for every ton of recycled paper used. The map was funded in part by the Greenbelt Conservancy and Staten Island Foundation.
