## Abstract Es wird der Umsatz von Allylbromid‐[3‐^14^C] mit Natriumphenolat in Benzol beschrieben. Die Substitution zum Phenylallyläther und zum o‐Allylphenol verläuft normal. Beim Umsatz von Natriumphenolat mit Allylbromid in stark wasserhaltigen Lösungsmitteln und in Wasser bilden sich neben Äther o‐ __und__ p‐Allylphenole. o‐ und p‐Allylierung ist die Hauptreaktion bei der Umsetzung von Phenol in Wasser rnit Allylbromid und Silbernitrat. Mit 4‐Alkylphenolen resultiert 4‐Allyl‐4‐alkyl‐cyclohexadien‐(2,5)‐on‐(1).
