About this document
Combined Cycle Power Plant Overview by tushar1128 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
A combined cycle power plant uses both a gas turbine and a steam turbine together to produce electricity. The hot exhaust from the gas turbine powers a steam turbine which generates additional electricity from the same fuel. This process increases efficiency over 40% for simple gas turbine plants and over 60% compared to typical steam plants. Combined cycle power plants have lower costs, use less fuel, and have fewer emissions than conventional power plants. They are expected to be a major source of power g
