This research article investigates the diversity and relative abundance of bird species in two habitat types of Dokima forest in Awi zone, Ethiopia, over a period from November 2018 to December 2020. A total of 2233 individuals from 47 species were recorded, with significant differences in species abundance between dry and wet seasons. The study highlights the importance of conserving these habitats to protect the avian populations in the area.
