This study investigates the colorimetric transition in polydiacetylene (PDA) nanovesicles induced by α-cyclodextrin (α-CD) and the inhibitory effects of the triblock copolymer L64. The addition of L64 reduces the blue-to-red transition of PDA by competing with PDA headgroups for α-CD inclusion, demonstrating a new strategy for modulating chromatic responses in biocompatible materials. The findings suggest potential applications in responsive colorimetric sensors for biomolecules and environmental monitoring
