The individual data are on file at The Wistar Institute, but, for the present discussion, these have been arranged in groups of six, five, and five for the whites and five, five, and four for the iiegroes. The data for these groups arc entered in table 2 for the whites and table 3 for the iiegroes, respectively, in three series: a ) for the data as observed, b ) for the data corrected to fifty years of age, and, c ) for the data corrected t o fifty years and 680 mm. of body size.
