This study evaluates the airway changes in growing patients with unilateral complete cleft lip and palate after 1.5 years of bone-anchored maxillary protraction (BAMP) therapy. Results show significant increases in total airway volume and nasopharynx size, bringing them to levels comparable to a control group without cleft. The findings suggest that BAMP is an effective treatment for improving airway development in these patients.
