What is A Neonatal Vade-mecum, 3ed about?
The new edition of this popular vade-mecum provides practical advice on the management of the normal and high risk new born infant. All chapters have been revised or completely rewritten to take account of the changes in newborn care since the publication of the last edition. The book begins by considering prenatal issues such as high-risk pregnancy, the delivery room, and routine care of the newborn infant, as well as birth trauma and care of the high risk infant. The book than moves on to look at clinical problems organized by system and disease. The authors also cover the broader aspects of neonatal care such as care of the family, medical ethics, practical procedures, drug presciptions, and normal laboratory and physiological data. The comprehensive and practical nature of this book will ensure it will be essential reading for all those involved in neonatal care
