What is Pathos in Patrick Henry about?

Patrick Henry gives a fiery speech to the Virginia Convention urging them to take up arms against the British. [1] He acknowledges those with opposing views but insists this is no time for caution given the question of freedom or slavery facing the colonies. [2] Using rhetorical techniques like repetition, biblical allusions, and rhetorical questions, Henry argues the British can not be trusted and are preparing for war, not peace, so the colonies must fight to defend their liberty.
