About this Engineering article

Fuzzy Theory-based Energy-saving Control of Solar Thermal Supplemental Multi-energy Heating System by Rui Ma; Jianfeng Li; Fei Jin; Ying Cao; Xinyu Zhao is a Engineering article available to read on EtoBox.

In order to solve the problem of insufficient heating heat in solar thermal system and soil source heat pump system, and the problem of high energy consumption caused by traditional control mode in combined heating system, a multi-energy complementary solar thermal supplementary heating system controlled by fuzzy controller was proposed. The operating mode of the whole heating system was analyzed, and the relevant fuzzy model was established. TRNSYS and MATLAB simulation platform were used to simulate the system. The results show that the average performance coefficient of COP s (Coefficient of performance) is improved by 0.27 and the total energy consumption is reduced by 199.88kWh in 5 days compared with the traditional control system, which has the advantages of improving system performance and saving energy. At the same time, it is verified that the photothermal system can effectively maintain the long-term balance of soil temperature and make the heating system run efficiently for a long time.

It is typically read by researchers, students, and practitioners in Engineering.
