## Abstract Agar plate diffusion assay with the indicator strain Bacillus megaterium for screening and selection of toxin‐negative (syringopeptin‐negative) Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae strains and mutants. The agar plate diffusion assay is a sensitive method to detect and determine antimicrobial substances. The produced substances diffuse into the surrounding agar.
