The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is working with partners in the Philippines to promote proper e-waste management and disposal. E-waste such as from TVs and computers can contain harmful chemicals like Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in their plastic components.
