What is DUORAM: Efficient Distributed ORAM about?

The paper introduces D UORAM, a bandwidth-efficient distributed ORAM protocol designed for secure 2- and 3-party computation, which significantly reduces communication costs compared to previous constructions like F LORAM. D UORAM utilizes innovations such as (2, 2)-distributed point functions to achieve logarithmic communication complexity while maintaining linear computation complexity. The protocol allows for efficient interleaved reads and writes, with most communication occurring during a preprocessing
