About this document
Materials: Microstructure and Charpy Impact Toughness of A 2.25Cr-1Mo-0.25V Steel Weld Metal by Rami Ghorbel is a document available to read on EtoBox.
This study investigates the low-temperature impact toughness of a 2.25Cr-1Mo-0.25V steel weld metal created using submerged arc welding. The study examines the microstructure of the as-welded and post-weld heat treated specimens, as well as the preferred microstructure near fracture surfaces. Characterization is done using optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and confocal laser scanning microscopy to understand the relationship between microstructure and impact toughness.
