This study aimed to determine the prevalence of metabolic syndrome (MetS) in Jakarta, Indonesia. The researchers analyzed data from a 2006 surveillance of non-communicable disease risk factors in 1,591 subjects aged 25-64 years from five regions of Jakarta.
