What is Casting Choices for Thriller Characters about?

The document discusses the casting choices for the roles of Lauren Scott and Jason Maverick in an opening thriller sequence. Leona was chosen to play Lauren Scott because she could best portray the emotion of being petrified and had an image that fit the "damsel in distress" thriller genre trope. Cameron was selected for the role of Jason Maverick as he could look more serious and menacing than the other actor, and had previous drama experience so could portray an effective thriller antagonist.
