What is Leg Ischaemia Management Study Protocol about?

This study aims to investigate the 12-month amputation rate in a contemporary cohort of patients with severe limb ischemia and compare it to a historical cohort. Secondary aims are to investigate the use of frailty and cognitive assessments, and cardiac MRI in risk-stratifying patients. The single-centre prospective cohort study will recruit 420 patients presenting with severe limb ischemia and undergo additional assessments and biomarker analysis.
