The National Mission for Manuscripts published the first set of five volumes of the Mongolian Kanjur and presented them to the President of India on Guru Purnima. The Mongolian ambassador was then given a set. The Ministry of Culture is reprinting all 108 volumes of the Mongolian Kanjur, an important Buddhist text considered the most important religious text in Mongolia, under the National Mission for Manuscripts with the goal of publishing all volumes by March 2022.
