About this document

N Deposition May Accelerate Grassland Degradation Succession FR 2021 Ecologi by sentpeter333 is a document available to read on EtoBox.

This study investigates the effects of overgrazing and nitrogen (N) deposition on alpine grassland ecosystems on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. Results indicate that both factors contribute to a shift in plant community composition from grasses and sedges to forbs, with overgrazing plus N deposition further enhancing forb dominance through selective herbivory and increased photosynthetic rates. The findings highlight the potential for accelerated grassland degradation due to combined anthropogenic pressures.
