Bangladesh Bank has extended the maximum usance period for imports of agricultural implements and chemical fertilizers from 180 days to 360 days to minimize COVID-19 related disruptions to input imports. Authorized Dealers can now extend usance periods up to 360 days for these imports. This extension applies until September 30, 2020. Other import trade instructions remain unchanged.
