About this document
Emergence Delirium in Children Study by dinko89 is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The study investigates the relationship between emergence delirium (ED) in children and intraoperative burst suppression during general anesthesia. It found no significant correlation between the occurrence and duration of burst suppression and the incidence of ED in a cohort of 97 children aged 0.5 to 8 years. The results suggest that while burst suppression is common, it does not adversely affect cerebral function during emergence from anesthesia in pediatric patients.
