What is Understanding the Johari Window Model about?

The Johari Window model is used to illustrate self-awareness and understanding between individuals in a group. It divides what is known about a person into four areas: 1) open/free area known to self and others, 2) blind area unknown to self but known to others, 3) hidden area known to self but unknown to others, and 4) unknown area unknown to both self and others.
